The Baltimore Site is a chemical facility formerly operated by the PQ Corporation. The site is located on Locust Point in a neighborhood that is gentrifying. The company decided to exit the site and sell to an industrial redeveloper. The site is slightly over 5 acres. The site is surrounded by Interstate 95 on the South, CSX railroad on the west, E. Fort Avenue on the North and Francis Scott Key Elementary School on the east. The site contains sodium silicate and the associated raw materials for manufacturing. Hazards on site include Caustic, live electric lines, natural gas and fuel oil. The site also has substantial quantities of copper and to a lesser extent, platinum. I really appreciate your professionalism and attention to detail as it pertains to this assignment.
While assigned to the Incident Commander Hurricane Florence in North/ South Carolina was a multi-task project. This required protection of people, property, and delivering equipment to hurricane-affected areas. Logistical support was given to FEMA, Police, and Fire in coordinating supply lines to commercial properties. Additionally, executive protection, transportation of vehicles, and securing travel routes were mission-critical. George has proven to be an asset to the team, community, and a pleasure to work.
I have had the pleasure of working with George in the most extreme combat environment. He is a master of his arts and craft displaying courage, integrity and grit. George is a consummate professional, masterful trainer and team player. He has the unique ability to understand and apply host cultural values in a meaningful way to vacant prejudices which has the immediate impact of building cohesion and trust. I look forward to the opportunity to serve with him. LTC Andrae Evans, United States Army, Operation Iraqi Freedom
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your excellent work as a security supervisor on the Golden Ray project in Brunswick, GA. This high-profile position required that you interface with both a diverse workforce as well as members of the public. In addition to site security, your assistance with site safety was key to furthering corporate goals of a safe workplace. The large and active worksite had hazards associated with workers near busy roadways, a marine docking facility, handling fuels and other flammable substances, as well as overhead crane operations. Your dedication and thorough work practices assisted greatly in the success of the project.
